    What comes in the kit?

    25 individually sealed WiseBatch FYL test strips, a 5 mg micro-scoop, and a durable carry bag.

    What is the carry bag like?

    A rugged, weather-resistant canvas pouch with a waterproof zipper and attached carabiner, measuring 6.5" W x 5.5" H x 0.25" D. It’s made for outreach teams, backpacks, and daily carry.

    How long do the strips last, and how should I store them?

    The individually sealed strips are designed for 18 to 24 months of readiness. Store them at 35–86°F (2–30°C). We can’t verify a test’s accuracy after its expiration date.

    How sensitive are the strips?

    They detect FYL and 20+ known analogs at trace levels of 200 ng/mL, contamination you can’t see by eye, with 98–99% accuracy.

    How do I use them?
    • Place 1 level micro scoop of finely crushed substance into an empty shot glass or bottle cap.
    • Add ¼ shot (5 mL) of water, or fill the bottle cap, and stir until the substance dissolves.
    • Dip the strip wavy side down, up to the MAX line, for 15 seconds.
    • Remove the strip and lay it flat for 1–2 minutes, then read the result.

    Instructions are printed on each pouch, and a QR code links to detailed guides.

    How do I read the result?

    One line means positive. Two lines means negative. A faint second line still counts as negative.

    How fast are the results?

    After dipping, lay the strip flat for 1–2 minutes, then read the result.

    What do the results mean, and what don’t they tell me?
    • A positive result shows FYL is present, not how much.
    • A negative result doesn’t rule out FYL; it may be present below the test’s detection level.
    • Neither result means a substance is safe to use. The test doesn’t determine purity or composition, or detect other substances.
    • Technical or procedural errors and other substances can interfere with results.

    What should I do if a substance may contain FYL?

    Treat it with extreme caution. Exposure to a small amount can cause serious health complications, respiratory depression, or death. Keep naloxone on hand and call 911 in an emergency.
